About LETTERS

• Katya Popova: We got a big envelope with many letters from Taiwan. I have a letter from Andy Huang. This boy likes basketball and chess.
• First of all you are super creative people!
• Kate Duvanova: I am very happy to get a letter from Taiwan! Sesame sent me a beautiful letter. She even wrote how they write “nice to meet you”. It’s really nice, but too difficult for me to write.
• Natasha Beletskaya: I received a very funny letter – it’s a sheet of a girl’s notebook, very funny, with monkeys and stickers. My nice pen pal is a fan of baseball.
• Masha Kholostykh: Today I got a funny letter with little pigs, smiles, with words “don’t enter”,”pig pig family”, “simple life”. I like it. This letter is from Tzu Hjiang Chuang, a kind, sociable and friendly 17 year old girl.
• Sabina Guseinova: I am really, really happy to get an answer!!! Hooray! The letter is from Jack, he likes music and photographing. He sent me some beautiful pictures of Kaohsiung, West Lake bay and others. It’s great!
• Dasha Knyazeva: Jordan from Taiwan likes listening to music. It’s one of my hobbies too. Also he prefers Internet. It helps him to find a lot of information. I like internet too. It helps me to communicate with people.
• Rita Masyukova: I am thrilled that I got a letter from such a fascinating boy. He seems to me very handsome: tall, black-haired, black-eyed. He’s my ideal. I hope, he’s so beautiful not just outside, but also inside. I hope we will become very good friends.
• We appreciate all our Taiwanese friends for the letters!

To Shun-Wei Yen from Yelena Anatolyevna Nikitina

Dear Shun-Wei Yen,

thank you very much for your letter, which I got in that wonderful envelope together with a lot of other great letters. I don't know your personal address, so, I hope, I can answer you there. I was REALLY happy to get your letter - it was a great surprise. When you work a lot as a teacher you can even forget sometimes that you are also just a human being and letters are not only a useful pleasure for your students - one of them absolutely unexpectedly is for you! It was a very touching moment for me to get it. It is an honor for me that you decided to write me a letter.

Thanks for telling about you. My son is 23 years old and daughters are 21 and 15. They all are not only my children but my students. Here is my youngest one with Bear.

I think that tennis is something special. My hobbies are theatre and reading - and teaching!

Now, when I know more and more about your country I like Taiwan a lot. It seems to me that it's amazing to live in the ever-spring place! Here is my photo in our spring forest - I like this season, the time of snowdrops (these are the flowers around me) very much.

I do enjoy our Teddy Bear Project very much. It is fun and now there are some more deeper things - the ones I didn't guess about when we were just thinking to start. We exchange our cultures and funny that little teddy bears help us. It seems to me that Miss Wu is a very good teacher because she wants to do more then she has to. My warmest hello to her and all your classmates!

Welcome to Russia!

All the best,

your Russian pen pal Yelena Anatolyevna Nikitina

My School Life with Crazy Guys in Taiwan

In our school, it's very common to see students play with Magic block. It's look funny, right?
Look! I can play Magic block! Maybe I can teach you how to play it someday.
Besides, it's very comfortable to lie on the classmate-"Ber Yao", because he is a little fat, and his body is soft!

Have you played baseball? It's an excited sport! I enjoy it!

I also visit the swimming pool of our school. Look, I'm surfing !

Маша и медведь

I am Teddy Bear!!! I am from Taiwan. I am brown with small eyes and a beautiful smile!!! I am 17 years old! Unbelievable! I feel I am 5. I went to Russia in March. Now I have a lot of friends in Russia!!! I visited many interesting places. For example Axioma, Olympic etc.

I was a visitor in Marsha’s house for 2 days!!! I love it!
On Monday I was in the forest, it was beautiful! A lot of flowers, trees, birds, green grass! I saw little yellow flowers, it was nice!! I sat under trees, sniffed flowers, laid on the grass. I was there with Marsha’s mum and her brother!!!I loved it and will not forget it.

I slept very well in a big bed. On Thursday morning I woke up at 7 o’clock because we had to go to school with Mary (=Marsha). After that I went to a bathroom: I washed my face, brushed my teeth Then I and Masha went to the kitchen. I was hungry and I ate a bowl of sweets and a plate of honey. It was tasty.

After that we went to school, we walked on the streets and people looked at us! We went for 10 minutes. When we arrived to school I met many interesting students and teachers.
The 1st lesson was History I liked it, I sat with Vanya. Now he is my friend!

It was funny. However I was tired and hungry. Because I, Mary and our friends went to a school cafeteria. I ate different food and drank kompot and I liked it!

Also I ate ice – cream, it was got to me by Marsha’s friend Alina. When we went home and Marsha went to Interlingua School!! I played computer games and made some more new friends! It was funny!

Then I, Mary and her baby brother Igor went to the yard!!! Igor slept and we played and ran!

And then I went to bed with Igor!!!It was happy time in a happy Russian family!

  Natasha Beletskaya
I am happy that our bears came to Taiwan and that Taiwanese students liked them very much. They named then strangely – Lo Lun and Suan A Chin. The names mean tasty Taiwanese food. That’s very funny. Our bears has a lot of entertainments. One of the best was the barbecue (because they have a very hot weather).
And we do like your presentations.

Here is mine:

I am
I am simply a Russian girl.
I wonder of your world.
I hear the alarm every morning.
I see many trees from my window.
I want to try my best.
I give all of me to people.
I am very very shy.
I pretend to be merry when I’m not.
I feel happy when I sleep.
I touch cold floor every morning.
I avoid stupid questions.
I worry about our future.
I cry without reasons.
I am so strange.
I understand fast French speech.
I fear to be alone.
I question why people are so bad.
I dream about St. Petersburg.
I try to be more organized.
I hope that I’ll be myself.
I am like I am.
